Three Types Of Ghosts: Which One Is The Best Match For Yours?

Three Kinds of Spirits: Which One Is Best for Yours?

When we talk about the mind, we are talking about a somewhat abstract concept, which is not clear to many people at all. It is a word used to refer to the processes that take place in our brain: our thoughts, our consciousness, our perception, our beliefs, desires, sensations etc. The mind is the area where conscious, unconscious and functional processes take place.

This mind is reflected in ideas, actions and various manifestations of brain activity. This is all produced through structured processes. In other words, all this mental activity is not random, but adheres to patterns or blueprints learned in life. This does not mean that the mind is immutable. Everything in the brain is subject to change.

Depending on how these processes occur, some scientists have been able to establish the existence of three types of minds: the rigid mind, the fluid mind, and the flexible mind. Each of these types of ghosts has its own characteristics and follows a different kind of logic. Let’s take a closer look at each species.

Three types of ghosts

The rigid mind: resists taking on new perspectives

Education and upbringing are the factors that most influence the configuration of our minds. It is normal that people with rigid minds are also children of rigid parents. In principle, this rigidity is a kind of defense mechanism. Fixed ideas make people with rigid minds feel more in control of their lives and protect them from uncertainty. These types of people are ideal for disciplined jobs and activities.

On the other hand, people with rigid minds can also be somewhat superficial. They do not take the time to analyze or evaluate the validity of their ideas or actions. They assume that everything has to be done in an orderly manner, in a way that is predetermined.

This leads them to find it difficult to be creative, so they usually limit themselves to repeating themselves. They can feel very confused and helpless if something or someone takes them out of their comfort zone.  When they experience a lack of control over some situations, it can create a lot of tension, which they then suffer from.

The flowing mind: maintain a chameleon-like perspective

For flowing minds the opposite is true as for rigid minds. They can’t be consistent and so they adapt to what’s going on around them. They take the shape of the container they are housed in. These are people who have given up any kind of control over their circumstances.

The flowing mind is representative of people who have needs for guidance or need someone to guide them. They find it difficult to make decisions and especially to take a stand. They don’t know what to think. And because they don’t know, they hand over that task to others, who they think have the security they lack.

Those who have these kinds of thoughts also find it hard to be pinned down. They don’t really set goals, but allow themselves to be set by others, which is enough for them. They can be very good at tasks that require a lot of subordination. Somehow they complement rigid minds.

The flexible mind: a balance point

Flexible minds are characterized by their ability to adapt well. Being adaptable doesn’t mean that, like fluent minds, they passively accept whatever happens. Their adaptation has been well thought out and executed creatively. They know how to situate themselves in reality without imposing their will, but also without submissively adapting to others.

In this case, actions are guided by thoughts. Reality is an object that is being processed and that requires analysis and expansion. These types of people are always open to discussion, which means that flexible minds are able to change many and adapt their ideas. The flexible mind is somehow also a humble mind. He does not believe that he possesses the truth. But he does not give in to the irrational or false ideas, because he has his own criteria.

This allows these people to relate to the world in a kinder and constructive way. This type of the types of spirits also creates the conditions necessary for continued development. Life is change and change is positive because it challenges us and helps us grow at the same time.

None of us connect exclusively to any of these types of minds. We all have a little bit of each kind in us, although it is usually the case that the characteristics of one of these spirits are predominant. Nor can it be said that there are ‘bad spirits’ and ‘good spirits’. However, it is worth understanding that there are ways of thinking that can help us become happier. While other ways of thinking make us stagnate or cause us to be dominated by others.
